Akım Metal Introduced Helicopter Visual Landing Assistance System (HVLA) and Safe Landing Solutions at SAHA EXPO 2024
26.10.2024At the SAHA EXPO 2024 International Defence, Aerospace and Space Industry Fair, which took place in Istanbul between 22-26 October 2024, the innovative defence industry solutions developed by Akım Metal attracted great attention. The Helicopter Visual Landing Assist System (HVLA), one of the most prominent products of the exhibition, was designed to support safe landings for naval aviation and was produced entirely with domestic resources.
Breakthrough Technology for Safe Landings with HVLA
Designed to facilitate safe landings in challenging weather conditions, the HVLA System stands out as a critical solution, especially in the inventory of the Turkish Naval Forces Command. The system, which is suitable for night operations with itsNight Vision Compatible binoculars, provides sustainability with its 80,000-hour life LED technology and low energy consumption advantages. HVLA, which guarantees quality at the global level thanks to its production features that comply with international standards such asMIL-STD 3009, STANAG 1275, STANAG 3800, will continue to play critical roles in the future as an indispensable solution for the Turkish Navy.
Other Critical Solutions Attracted Attention at Akım Metal's Fair Stand
In addition to the HVLA system, Akım Metal's CNC machines, motion control technologies, locally produced servo motors and defense industry-specific solutions offered under the SMB Technics brand attracted great interest from the visitors of the exhibition. Fermada Galion-S and Galion-L LED lighting products, which are among the innovative solutions of Akım Metal, stood out with their structure that can be used in coast guard ships.
Critical System Solutions with SGSI and HRS
Systems that provide high performance in the defense industry, such as the Stabilized Landing Angle Indicator System (SGSI ) and the Horizon Line Reference System (HRS ), were also introduced at our stand.
